well as some of the steps we take to safeguard information. We hope this will

The Academy strives to maintain the highest standards of decency, fairness and integrity in all our operations. Likewise, we are dedicated to protecting our customers', consumers' and online visitors' privacy on our website.

The Academy does not automatically obtain any personally identifiable information about you--such as name, age, address, e-mail address, telephone number, etc. The only time we collect specific information about you personally is if you voluntarily give us that information.

This information is collected if you register to take one or more of our courses. It is also collected if you request information from us, participate in a contest or sweepstakes, sign up to join our email list or request some other service or information from us. In such instances it is obvious from the data collection procedure that the information is being collected--you are being asked directly to give the information.

The information collected is internally reviewed, and used to improve the content of our website, notify our visitors of updates, and respond to visitor inquiries. The information is also used in the manner that was clearly stated on the page that was used to collect the information. Another time when you voluntarily give us personal information about yourself is when you email The Academy. Your e-mail address is received as well as any information about yourself that you disclose in the email.

In these cases the information that you supply is shared by you with The Academy actively and voluntarily. If you do not want us to have this information do not share the information with us. Please be aware that you may not be able to participate in one or more of the services being offered if you do not supply the requested information. If you do not share information about yourself when ordering a product or course, we will not be able to process the order and deliver the product or course. Once information is reviewed, we discard it or store it in our files.

Thinkific

The Academy's courses and site is hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allow us to sell our product, services, and courses.

Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act

This website is directed to adults; it is not directed to children under the age of 13 years of age. We operate our site in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, and will not knowingly collect or use personal information from anyone under 13 years of age.

Non-Personal Information

In some cases, we collect statistical log information from you as you visit The Academy. Such information may include the day and time you visited the site, which pages you viewed, any links you clicked on, and what resources were used to find The Academy.
